Diary entry from yesterday:
‘…didn’t feel right so stopped and walked back after 6km. IT band sore by the time I got back. Will have to rest it for 3 full days.’
I can walk on it today but it’s pretty sore. With two races coming up in the next fortnight I have a bit of a dilemma. Do I bin one or both of them, or should I just go for it with less than ideal preparation.
Ps Good luck to Bob and Robert today. Bob is running a 10k on Teesside, while Robert is running what sounds like a tough ten miler in Tynedale.
