I disagree. Ignoring fascism doesn’t have a very good track record. Nasty Nick wants to be leader of a fascist grouping within the European parliament. He was attempting to look statesman like, and gain kudos with European fascists by posing outside the ‘Mother of all Parliaments’. He ended up looking like the twat he really is.
It’s difficult to look like the fuhrer of the master race if you’re running away from a couple of flying eggs with your sphincter dilating.
